REASON WHY THEY CHOOSE ASEAN AS THEIR MAIN FOCUS IN THEIR TARGET BUSINESS:

They known as the carrier which dedicated as air cargo carrier and they also carry cargo as sideline while carrying passengers through their airline. They choose ASEAN in their MISSION because mostly airlines, they are focusing within Asia Pacific when they running their business, they as an airline also get high demands within the Asia Pacific region.

When they offered the service as air cargo carrier, most people within Asia Pacific region use that advantage to use that service to ship their goods for their own purposes for example like their business purposes. But, this doesn't mean that they don't accept offer to ship cargo beyond the ASEAN, they still get some offer from Europe like in Amsterdam. They just focus on ASEAN because mostly demands they get is within ASEAN.

HOW THEY STRIVE TOWARDS PROFITABILITY IN THEIR BUSINESS:

MASKARGO now have 11 warehouse which all of them were in Malaysia. Those warehouse is the main reason how they could sustain in their business. For now, MASKARGO could handle about 1million tonne of goods in a year at one warehouse. MASKARGO usually have contracted customer which they have signed contract to ship the goods to them daily about 10 tonne. They also have contract to ship the goods to Europe because there are some factory in Malaysia that owned by them, and they want the goods to be in the Europe market.

MASKARGO now have about 100 destination worldwide, 108 acre complex, 3 airbus 330-200f for the ship cargo purpose. They also have partnership with MASWINGS as their subsidiary and they kept grow in their business as the air cargo carrier.

MASKARGO as one of the biggest airline that also serve as air cargo carrier, Mr. Zulkifly said that MASKARGO planned for strengthen their partnership for their business growth. They believe that through partnership they could get more demand as people will know for their service more easily. They now have comeback to operate their business in the Amsterdam which is in Europe. They have a great teams in the Amsterdam  which will lead them in the market if Europe to run their business smoothly.

Although there is pandemic covid-19 that spread all over the world, MASKARGO have not get affected by them since they still have demand but the regulations were change to follow the SOP of the pandemic covid-19, said Mr. Zulkifly. Nowadays, everything slowly turning back to normal and they have new vision which they also want to strive for profitability.

Mr. Zulkifly also said that the MASKARGO chief operating officer, Jason Thomas made a conference that the Maskargo is set to build a global footprint by strengthening its operations in Asia Pacific while looking to expand further in Europe and the US in the future and the cargo airline was currently operating cargo flights to countries in Asia Pacific, including China as well as cities of Amsterdam and London.

He said that how they will manage the expansion plan to work is by working with strategic partners to complement the their fleet and their network expansion. They are looking for strategic partners to work with maybe in terms of a joint business or special prorate agreement or interline basis.

He said that the cargo airline had no immediate plans to add new freighter aircraft into its current fleet of three Airbus A330-200F. Instead, the network expansion would bank on the capacity of its strategic partners for MASKARGO to keep its operating costs low. However, they did not completely rule out the possibility of purchasing new freighter aircraft in the future to fuel the growth of the airline and meet the increasing global demand for air cargo.
